COVID-19 and Service Changes

April 5, 2020
In accordance with the Federal and the Commonwealth of Virginia guidelines, The Church of the Blessed Trinity is complying for the health and well being of our congregants and visitors by continuing the cancellation of all public worship until further notice. The officials of the church will continue to observe the latest updates concerning COVID-19 and make changes to the church schedule, as we learn more.

The Church of the Blessed Trinity not only believe in obey the law of our most High and Almighty God, but also in obeying those who govern our land (Romans 13:1-7). Our government has asked us to take common sense approaches in mitigating the spread of this disease. The following are proactive measures we all can do:

Wash your hands often. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid close contact with sick people.

Practice social distancing especially those who are at higher risk of becoming very sick. Those who are 65 years or older should self quarantine to avoid getting sick.

Stay home if you are sick.

Cover coughs and sneezes with tissue, then promptly throw it away and immediately sanitize your hands. If you are sick, wear a face mask.

If you are not sick do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick and not wearing a mask.

Clean frequently touched surfaces daily - countertops, door knobs, light switches, toilets, faucets, phones, keyboards, etc. If the surfaces appear dirty, clean them before disinfecting them.
